This Code of Conduct is intended to promote a harmonious and respectful working environment
for everyone at the Wasaga Beach Farmers' Market.
All vendors, staff, and volunteers, whether at the Market site ,meetings, or functions must behave
professionally and foster community and cooperation to promote the Market to the community
in the best light possible. Note that this professionalism is expected in all verbal, written and
displayed communications as well on social media or other online activities whether on a
business or personal account.
The Wasaga Beach Farmers' Market has a legacy of providing a safe, caring
environment for its vendors, staff, volunteers and members of the public. The Board of Directors
will ensure this legacy
By participarting in the Wasaga Beach Farmers' Market, all vendors, staff and volunteers are expected to always:

1. Treat one another and the public with courtesy, dignity, respect and patience;
2. Act with honesty, integrity, and professionalism;
3. Maintain a high standard of appearance and conduct;
4. Avoid conflict of interest;
5. Notify a Board Member immediately of any unsafe conditions and/or conflicts;
6. Resolve conflicts with respect and kindness;
7. Conduct themselves in a manner that is in the best tradition of the Wasaga Beach Farmers'
Market, which reflects positively on our public image, and which fully supports our mission.
8. Avoid interfering with other vendors or entertainers throughout the duration of the Market.
Vendors, staff, volunteers and members of the public are asked to cooperate and participate in
maintaining a positive environment by treating all individuals with respect and dignity by adhering to the following: 1. Threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or harassing language or behavior towards a vendor, staff, volunteer or member of the public connected to the Wasaga Beach Farmers Market is prohibited and where it may occur is to be reported immediately to a member of the Wasaga Beach Farmers Market acting Manager or Board of Directors; 2. Behavior that may result in a violent act towards a vendor ,staff, volunteer or member of the public will be addressed by the Wasaga Beach Farmers Market accordingly; 3. Willful, deliberate or reckless, damage to Wasaga Beach Farmers Market and / or vendor property, Market site property, or theft of property may result in prosecution. Violation of these rules by any person may result in recovery of costs, suspension from the Wasaga Beach Farmers Market services,/ facilities and possible prosecution.
